Hey guys!!! How've you been? In a blogging mood today even though I know my 5 essays are calling me... Haha... I want roti boy too... but have to wait till 6 months later, hopefully by then I won't have to queue so long. I'm missing all the food back home, I want char kuey tiao and carrot cake and durian... and everything else spicy!!!
I haven't got the card you guys sent cos I forgot to tell you guys that I've moved, I'm so sorry. I've checked with those pple staying there this year, they said they left all the unknown mail at the front office, so they'll probably forward it to me. Hopefully, I'll get it soon, just hope that they're not inconsiderate enough to open it... which some idiotic people do.
Yup, don't worry abt me, I'm fine... was just feeling a little grumpy and whiny the other day... Don't worry Wanting, I'm not depressed or anythiing... I've always been very optimistic and always will be... was just being a grumpy old lady the other day. But now that I've had a reading week and had some rest and slacked, I'm fully charged up to 'piah' my 5 essays
Oh yes, Agnes... read your comment... it's so sweet and set me back thinking... thanks so much girlie!!! You made my day
Just came back from this volunteer work thingy that I've just joined. It's called BUMP and basically, we befriend young people who are seeking asylum in the UK and go for trips and activities with them. It's really nice to be meeting all these people. Had a training session before the thing, thought it'd be quite hard to interact with them. But they turned out to be really friendly, chatty and interested, despite them having come from difficult backgrounds... places like Afghanistan, Middle Eastern countries and African countries... Hope to be able to continue doing it till I graduate. It's scary to think that I'll be graduating in a year and a half... that's too fast.... still got so much stuff I've not done
Oh yah, might go to Italy this Dec... looking forward to it... hope to get my visa without too much trouble
right right, gotta go shower and start burning midnight oil... take care and miss you guys
