SINGAPORE - TAIPEI (Meals on Board)Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Taipei. Upon arrival, transfer to Tamshui, where you will visit Tamshui Historic Street, famous for its 'iron-eggs', and enjoy a beautiful sunset at Fisherman's Wharf, filming site of the TV drama 'Meteor Garden'. Then, you can spend the rest of the evening at leisure to explore Shihlin Night Market , the largest night market in Taipei.
TAIPEI - HUALIEN (Breakfast/Dinner)This morning, start your journey to discover the untouched beauty of Taiwan as you travel to Yeliu Stone Park to see fantastic rock formations sculpted by nature, with names such as Queen's Head and Fairy Shoe. You will also make a stop at the Chiufen , the filming site of 'Sad City'. Located on a hill in Northeast Taiwan, Chiufen overlooks the sea and exquisite scenery. Afterwhich, travel along the East Coast Scenic Highway towards Hualien.
HUALIEN - TAITUNG (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)If you are on the TW7S tour, make a stop at Chihsintan Beach, a largely undeveloped sandy strip with a spectacular mountainous backdrop, an excellent spot for photographs. Or you can simply enjoy the beauty of the area at a caf?on the beach. If you are on the TW7A tour, you will transfer to the pier to board the ferry to Turtle Island before you embark on your whale-watch adventure 'hunting' wild whales in the open sea.Your tour continues as you embark on a tour to Taroko Gorge. Pass Taroko Gate to enjoy marvelous geological features in Swallow Caves, Nine Turn Grotto and Tien Hsiang. Enjoy the scenic drive along the East Coast Scenic Highway to Taitung. Make a stop at Sanshiantai to view nature's work in sea-eroded potholes and caves as well as rare coastal vegetation. Continue to Caves of the Eight Immortals, where archaeologists have discovered evidence from the Palaeolithic period. Continue to Taitung. NoteAs the whales are not kept in captivity, sighting of the whales is not guaranteed and no refund will be made. Whale-watching is subject to weather conditions. Upon arrival in Taipei, visit Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, which boasts traditional Chinese architectural features in majestic splendour, followed by a visit to the National Palace Museum, which houses the world's largest collection of ancient Chinese treasures, followed by a visit to Lucky Charm Center. Proceed to Yangmingshan, known for its abundant flora and fauna. Here you will enjoy a relaxing dip in a hot spring.
