Itinerary
DAY 1: Singapore > Taipei

Your vacation will begin with the flight to Taiwan. Upon arrival, be met by our representative for your arrival transfer to the hotel. ( meals on board )

DAY 2: TAIPEI : CKS Memorial Hall / Martyr’s Shrine / Chiufen “Sad City” filming site / Ye-Liu Scenic area / Mirama Ferries Wheel Shopping Mall / Shilin Night Market / Bei-Tou Hot Spring

Your journey in Taipei will begin with the visit to the CKS Memorial Hall and Martyr’s Shrine. Homage to former President of ROC, Chiang Kai Shek and take a picture of the ceremony of changing guards at hourly intervals. Thereafter, proceed to the scenic area of Chiufen – “Sad City” filming site, which is located up in the hills of northeast Taiwan. Another Scenic Area worth seeing is the Ye-Liu Scenic Area, Ye-Liu is the most remarkable of all Taiwan’s northern scenic area. A promontory that stretches 1,700m into the sea and contains bewildering variety of rock formations forms the park. On the way, visit Arts Exhibition Centre and Lingzhi shops. Next, more shopping at Mirama Ferries Wheel Shopping Mall and Shilin Night Market. The highlight for the day will be a dip at the hot spring. DAY 3: Taipei

The day will be free at your own leisure for you to explore this vibrant and exciting city. Hop on the rapid transportation system and explore the city at your own pace. ( breakfast )

DAY 4: Taipei > Singapore

After breakfast, you are free at leisure till your departure transfer for your flight back to Singapore. ( breakfast )

The cheapest is if u travel by CX (cathay pacific), twin adult fare at $468 per pax which includes accomodation and air tix plus 1 day tour on day 2 (excludes airport taxes though), and u get to stay at their 3-star hotels, which is either Kilin, Chengdu or City Hotel. I stayed at Chengdu last yr which is at Ximendi. Kilin is the most popular one also at Ximendi, and if u book tis package, they'll ask u to choose these 3 hotels of your priority. I chose Chengdu last yr instead of Kilin bcos the person at SA told us Kilin is very popular ar, so depends on demand, and so to play safe, we chose Chengdu. The rooms are acceptable ar, neat and clean, and the toilet is of standard ar. So, accomodation is definitely assured. :) Airline wise too, Cathay is not too bad, only thing is they dun seem to understand the term "plain water" when I asked for it last yr. :p

I go and find out more if they have some HK free n easy thingy too. Hopefully can travel from Taiwan or sth. hehe.
