dear friends,
i haven't been blogging for so long. summer is here, and i am doing summer school session 1. organic chem lab and psychology class (intro to personality).
school is very different during summer. i think it is a lot quieter, because everyone is away. walking in the campus always has a theraputic feeling here haha.. the weather now is very nice. cool in the mornings and nights, but warm in the day.
i have been cycling to school, and i was extremely excited, because i liked cycling all along, and also because all of a sudden i feel so much freer. school is no longer so far away and having a bike by my side gives me the freedom to go anywhere on campus quickly. just delightful. I normally ride on the road, but there is a bike lane, so i am quite safe. but i ride pretty slowly, so everyone overtakes me. haha, but still it is nice. some friends were telling me that if i ever were to get a car, then it is truly freedom, but the thing is, you can't park a car anywhere you want, whereas, you can always keep a bike close to you. so i am delighted, anyhow. =p
i moved house a few weeks back, so i now have a single room. feeling slightly more relaxed, no longer so tense that there is still another person in my room. but the problem is that my room's window faces another household, so my blinds are closed all the time, which is something that i dislike. i like my blinds to be open for the sunlight to shine in, but well, haha.. i still do that sometimes in the day, when no one is around.
there is a cat in the house now, because one of my housemates owns a cat. called dumpling. it is really quite cute, and he is allowed out of the house. (he is intelligent enough to come back) but we were all so stunned when he actually caught a bird back one day. of course we let the bird out, but it was already injured in the wing, and feathers flew all over the house. just reminds me of tweety bird "i thought i saw a pussy cat". haha. i can't believe that fat cat has the ability to catch a live pigeon. hmm
this is already the 3rd week of school, and summer school is ridiculously short. only 5 weeks long. which means that all exams are near. i am coming back on the 5th of august. looking forward to seeing you all, talking to you all again.
