dear all,
i have just reached san diego, back in my room now. quite tired. the flight from singapore to san diego is a long one and somehow i have gotten used to it. The journey from singapore to narita (tokyo) is very tolerable. 6.5 hours, and i was reading newsweek. do you all still remember that we used to subscribe to newsweek during sec3/4 years? somehow i still think that newsweek is better than Time. haha, dunno. anyway, this issue of newsweek is about hurricane Katerina, and the concept that the united states is divided into a country for 2 groups of people, for the poor and the rich. and the question as to why, the world's richest nations contains parts that looks like third world, and the failure of Bush's government. hmm. but the next journey, from narita to san francisco is hardly tolerable. the flight was delayed from flying for 2 hours, because of some mechanical error, and the flight tool 8.5 hours. this landed me in san francisco international airport, from which i arrived in san diego through the domestic flight. tired.
there are a few things which i need to do, the first of which is to tidy up my room. school is starting on thursday, my mood, together with my room, need to be cleansed, and ready for school.
wanting, i understand the feelings that you were going through in your last blog. true, in distress, the only thing that we can do is to pass them a piece of tissue. the process of standing up can only belong to them. as outsiders, we can only listen, no matter how much we may want to help.
