dear all, my exams are just over and i am coming back this sunday. quite tired, really, and there is nothing much left to do these few days. still need to pack, got one experiment to be done, and then grade papers for molecular biology on friday.
the molecular biology final is today, and i am TAing for this class. sometimes i wonder about how the students are really coping, this exam is not difficult at all, and yet so many are struggling and they are all bio majors. sigh. don't know.
tired, tired tired. oh! i was reading the chronicles of Narnia. hee.. i know that it is a children's book, but still it is enjoyable to read. his books are quite fasinating really, and has a very different taste to it than other fantasy books like harry potter. I feel that CS lewis has a bigger view of the world than harry potter etc. don't know how to describe.
and also reading this book by Erasmus "praise of folly". yes, it is actually one of my texts for next quarter's reformation europe class. =p
winter is here already, although it is nothing compared to what Lediati has over in England. it is very mild here, but still distinguishably winter. this week has been suddenly very cold and suddenly even afternoons are no longer warm. but still a refreshing change.
i bought a pair of green (with verticle stripes) pants the other day. haha. it is quite interesting really. i'll wear it back in singapore.
right, going back to lab, i am going to do a transfection and then go home..
